Mr. Bradford Jr.'s bio:
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Raymond Bradford Jr is an academic strategic leader and educational practitioner. Skilled in K-12 Education (Elementary, Middle, and High), staff development, instruction, strategic planning and effective systems development, educational leadership discipline, technology, assessment, communications, and classroom management. Mr. Bradford is extremely hardworking, makes the workplace enjoyable, and pushes everyone to be their best selves. His dedication to students’ social and emotional well-being, academic success, and his commitment to creating a positive team culture in the workplace are what make him such an exceptional team member and leader.
Mr. Bradford is a graduate of Sheffield High School. Mr. Bradford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Crichton College, a Masters’ of Science degree in Leadership from Belhaven University, and teacher certification from Bethel University. Mr. Bradford’s teaching career expands over the middle and high school with years of administration experience in both elementary and middle school. In addition, Mr. Bradford has earned an Ed.S in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Administration and Supervision from Freed Hardeman University. Mr. Bradford is a first generational doctoral degree student at Freed Hardeman University. Mr. Bradford is also a graduate of the New Leaders Memphis Residency Principal Program.
In his spare time, Mr. Bradford enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Mattie Bradford, and their two children, Dandrell and Taylor Bradford. “One of Mr. Bradford’s greatest strengths is his willingness to listen to others and make adjustments that benefit our teachers and students,” said Principal Jones Wallace. Mr. Bradford will use his knowledge and expertise to improve outcomes for all students at Memphis School of Excellence.
