Dear MSE Mendenhall Families,
Due to hazardous road conditions, all schools and office buildings will remain closed on Thursday, February 2. All before/after-school activities are also postponed.

It is my pleasure to announce that Mr. Bradford will be our interim Mendenhall principal, starting today, until further notice. We would like to thank Mrs. Nichole Jones-Wallace for her service and wish her luck in her future endeavors.

MSE Mendenhall will be offering free Saturday Tutoring in core subjects to all interested students in grades K-8 from 8:00am-11:30am. This coming Saturday, January 28th is the first tutoring date. If you would like your student to participate, print, sign, and return the parent letter linked below.

This week, October 26th through the 30th, MSE Mendenhall celebrates College and Career week. The daily themes are:

Monday: College T-shirt day
Tuesday: Camouflage day
Wednesday: College day
Thursday: Career day
Friday: Homeroom teachers' college & career door competition

Join us on Friday, July 29th (10am - 1pm or 2pm - 5pm) to prepare for the upcoming school year. You can visit your child's classroom and bring in his/her school supplies. This is the best time to familiarize yourself with our school and meet your child's teacher. The leadership team will talk about school-wide programs, initiatives, and classroom expectations. Can't wait to see you there!

Dear Parents,
We will implement a new afternoon pick up route starting Monday (Aug. 15). These changes should reduce the backup of traffic, move the lines faster, and cut down on wait time to pick up students. This all can be accomplished by adjusting to the changes below:

Next Thursday evening MSE Mendenhall will be hosting a welcome meeting with information for rising 9th grade students and their families. The event will be held from 5:30-6:30pm at our Mendenhall campus.

Parents, please join us in the Elementary Cafeteria this Wednesday, March 23rd from 3:45-4:15 for an informational session covering this year's TCAP testing season. Parents will learn how to support students as they prepare for testing, strategies for improving scores, test expectations, and much more. Concession will be available for purchase throughout the workshop. Hope to see you there.
