If you are interested in your students riding the bus this year, please complete the attached Bus Rider Form. See below for our AM and PM bus routes.

Beginning this fall, Mr. Steven Shirley will assume the role of head principal at MSE Mendenhall. Having served most recently as principal of MSE's Winchester campus, Mr. Shirley looks forward to continuing his decade-long investment in the students and families of MSE in his new role as principal of Mendenhall K-8. Take a moment to read Principal Shirley's welcome letter to learn more about the exciting things we have in store for the '23-'24 school year.

School and campus offices will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 7th in observance of Spring Break 2. We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus Monday, April 10th.

Come join us for MSE Summer Learning Camp, where everyday is an adventure! Summer academic programming will run from May 30 - June 23 for students currently in grades K-7. Programming will run from 8:00-3:30 each day, with the exception of June 19th (closed in observance of the Juneteenth holiday). Enrollment is currently underway!

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing spring break holiday. We look forward to seeing you back at school on March 20th!

This coming Thursday evening is parent-teacher conference night. Please use the spreadsheet linked below to find your child's teacher or grade-level team. Each faculty member will be available to meet with you, either one-on-one (grades K-2) or as part of a grade-level team (grades 3-8). Elective, ESL, SPED, and RTI teachers will be sitting in on grade-level team and K-2 meetings.

Our school district has been given the opportunity from the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation and the State of Tennessee to take part in their K–3 Home Library program this summer!
Each rising 1st–3rd-grade student in our school ( current K-2) will receive six high-quality books and activity pages this summer at no cost to you.
If you WOULD like to participate, no other action needs to be taken.
If you choose NOT to participate, use this link (or go here:bit.ly/MSEGELF2223) to complete the opt out form. Fill out the form completely. Taking this step will ensure your child will NOT receive the books. In order to opt out, you must do so by 4:00 CDT on Tuesday, February 28. After that time, we will not be able to remove your child from the recipient list.
If you have multiple children in K-2 and want to opt-out, you need to fill out the form for each child.
