Hello MSE Family!

My name is Tasia Ortiz, and I am MSE's 3rd grade ELA teacher this year! First, allow me to share a little about myself. I grew up in the Bronx, New York where I have lived my entire life until 2021 when I moved to Memphis! I attended SUNY New Paltz where I received a Bachelors in English with a minor in Communication Studies. I strive to create a space for students to explore their own learning styles. I completely agree with the fact that reading helps you grow and I will try my best to teach this good habit to your child as well.
